Sima Safavi-Bayat

Chief Operating Officer. Sima Safavi-Bayat prides herself in cultivating a multi-faceted life. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, and currently based in Los Angeles, Sima has almost a decade of experience in the non-profit world and community-driven projects. From fund development, program development, growing and maintaining partner relationships, and mentorship, she has a huge understanding of the value of mission-driven work. 

Chelsea Corpuz

Social Media Coordinator. Chelsea is a dedicated marketing professional who studied International Business and and Marketing at the University of San Diego. She enjoys content creation and developing marketing strategies for mission-driven organizations.   

Laura Lorton

Volunteer. Laura has over 30 years experience in education and youth development. Her passion for educating young people about the environment includes work at the Lawrence Hall of Science and the San Francisco Zoo. 

Arlene Davis

Volunteer. Workshop Admissions Director. Arlene Davis is a retired electronics engineer who worked with public safety radio. She is currently active in several environmental and community organizations. 

Lindsey Bogachus

Volunteer. Community Outreach Coordinator. Lindsey recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship in diabetes research. She is passionate about conservation and hopes to encourage teenage girls to consider entering a career path in nature photography and/or conservation. 

Suzi Eszterhas

Founder, Executive Director, and Board member. Suzi Eszterhas is an award-winning wildlife photographer best known for her work documenting newborn animals and family life in the wild.
