Telling Stories with your Nature Photographs with Brenda Tharp

As the song says, ‘every picture tells a story’. It’s important in today’s world where one image may have to create the impact that we want that that image tells a good story. In this workshop, Brenda will discuss the elements that go into making expressive pictures that tell a story, both the single image and also in a series. She’ll also discuss the elements that make photographs stronger in terms of composition and light gesture and moment.

Brenda Tharp has been photographing nature and wildlife for over 40 years. She has been published widely in nature magazines and books, calendars, and more, and loves teaching and helping others improve their techniques and personal vision. She is passionate about conservation through photography.
