Our photographers are dedicated professionals with thriving careers in photographing wildlife, nature, and/or conservation. They serve as the backbone of GWC, hosting in-person/virtual workshops, and acting as mentors for our steadfastly ambassadors leading the next generation.

Alyce Bender is a nature photographer, writer, educator, and adventurer. Camera in hand since childhood, her passion developed into a career after serving in the U.S. Air Force.

Her passion for wildlife and the natural environment compels her to connect others with nature through both her visual art and in-field experiences that promote conservation, protection, and ethical photography.

For six years she observed and documented his life, producing an award-winning film, Takaya: Lone Wolf, a book endorsed by Jane Goodall that will be released in September 2020, and two children’s books about Takaya.
