Lana Tannir (She/Her) is a nature photographer based in Germany. She specializes in conservation and animal welfare projects for organizations, editorials and sustainable brands. By merging storytelling with science, her objective is to shed light on the most pressing environmental issues today. In line with this mission, her photograph “Nesting in Plastic” was awarded an Honorable Mention in the Environmental category of the 2021 International Photography Awards. Among others, her work has been featured in National Geographic Germany, Terra Mater, Oceanographic Magazine, and Wildlife Photographic. Besides her creative endeavors, she is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biodiversity and Ecology.
