Girls Who Click nature photography classes for teen girls

Girls Who Click empowers teen girls to enter the male-dominated field of nature photography and use their work to further conservation efforts around the world. We aim to inspire a new generation of female nature photographers and conservationists through our free nature photography workshops for teen girls. We believe that photography is not just about making pretty pictures – it’s about using effective pictures to making a difference. Through Girls Who Click, girls will gather the confidence to pursue their passion and apply it as adult photographers and conservationists. Girls Who Click - Latest event in Moss Landing, CA

October 8, 2017

Our second annual Girl’s Workshop in Moss Landing, California was a success!  We spent the morning learning about what it takes to become a professional female nature photographer and took photos on a nature walk through the Elkhorn Slough Reserve.  The afternoon, aboard an Elkhorn Slough Safari boat, was a real treat – filled with opportunities to photograph pelicans, sea lions, harbor seals, sea otters and other beautiful wildlife.

We are so thankful to our generous sponsors: Elkhorn Slough Safari, LLC for donating the boat, BorrowLenses.com for donating the gear for the low-income spaces, and Elkhorn Slough Reserve for donating park entry and the conference room.
