Rylee is a wildlife photographer, expedition leader, biologist, artist, and researcher. She recently completed her Master’s degree in Biology from Northern Michigan University, where she studied the gut microbiomes of African herbivores. In her photographic endeavors, she specializes in capturing the wildlife of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, Utah, Alaska, and occasionally biodiversity hotspots around the world (e.g., Galápagos Islands, Brazil, India). Her photographs, film contributions, and articles have been published with BBC Earth, PetaPixel, NANPA, Gitzo, Nature Picture Library, and Wyoming Wildlife. She now resides in Dzántik’i Héeni – Juneau, Alaska – a place that has called her name ever since she stepped foot here four years ago.
