Ningjing Wang

Ningjing is an aspiring wildlife filmmaker, photographer, and writer from China. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Ecology and a master’s degree in Environmental Health Sciences from Yale University. Recently, she completed her second Master’s in Wildlife Filmmaking at UWE, in partnership with the BBC Natural History Unit. 

Ningjing’s interests center around two main areas. Firstly, her expertise lies in sustainable agricultural practices that promote biodiversity and improve livelihoods. She recently produced her student film focusing on a rare frog species that heavily relies on rice paddies in China. Secondly, Ningjing is passionate about using her camera to capture the enchanting human-nature stories on the Tibetan Plateau, as well as to highlight the climate crisis affecting the wildlife and people there.
