Mariana Rivera Uribe (She/Her) is a biologist, conservation photographer and filmmaker from Colombia. Since she’s had the capacity of walking on her own two feet, her direction has been towards nature. Through her work, she explores ways in which nature, storytelling and emotions have the living force to raise consciousness and transform our views on the inner and outer world, and lead to direct actions to protect the planet and those who live in harmony with it.
She is co-founder and producer at Coral Studio, an underwater and conservation film company based in Colombia. Some of the projects she has worked on include “Dive Tierra Bomba” (2019), “Expedition Tribuga” (2020) and most recently, “Expedition Pacific” which will be released in December, 2021.
Her photos have been exhibited in several magazines and exhibitions including the Siena Photo Awards 2020.
