Júlia Checchinato​

Júlia is a biologist and an aspiring wildlife filmmaker and photographer based in Brazil. She works as a video editor and, in her free time, develops documentary projects focused on species conservation. During her academic training, she interned and volunteered in science communication and conservation on social media. She is currently one of the communicators for a mammal monitoring project in the Serra do Japi, the mountain range in her hometown. Through her lenses, Júlia seeks to share her passion for nature and inspire curiosity and empathy, using storytelling as a conservation tool.
