Francesca Hanen

Franky is a San Diego-based filmmaker and photographer with a passion for capturing the profound relationship between people and the natural world. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, she developed a deep appreciation for wild places, which now forms the foundation of her storytelling. As an associate producer at Day’s Edge Productions, Franky works on anything from multi-episode broadcast series to hour-long nature specials. She is currently producing and directing her first independent film, exploring access issues and coexistence with raptors in rock climbing spaces.
