Faith Barton is 16 years old, lives in Spring Valley, California, and is a junior in high school. She got hooked on birds five years ago when she was just 11 years old. During the pandemic restrictions, her main interest became avian photography. She has attended multiple Girls Who Click workshops and made lasting connections with experienced photographers. In 2023, three of Faith’s photos were selected by the National Audubon Society’s annual Photography Top 100 awards. Faith has also formed a faith-based birding group and has led several events for her local Audubon chapters.
