She uses her photography to provoke change by inspiring love for nature, exposing the ongoing assault on the natural world and communicating solutions for a sustainable future.
Meet Our Board
Founder, Board President and Executive Director. Suzi Eszterhas is an award-winning wildlife photographer best known for her work documenting newborn animals and family life in the wild.
Board Vice President. Susan McElhinney is the Photography Editor for Ranger Rick magazine with the National Wildlife Federation. She also oversees all the photographic operations for the children’s magazines, books, web and other projects for the NWF Kids publications.
Board Member. Jaymi Heimbuch is a wildlife photographer, freelance photo editor and instructor. She is the founder of Conservation Visual Storytellers Academy ®, and is the host of Impact: The Conservation Photography Podcast. She’s passionate about creating step-by-step, result-driven training and coaching to consercation-focused photographers so that they can find success and fulfillment in their work.
Board Member. Kelly is the Director of Donor Engagement at the Wildlife Conservation Network where she is fortunate to work closely with many conservation heroes from around the world.
Board Treasurer. Jessica Jordan has more than 20 years experience in the nonprofit sector. She currently serves as Associate Vice President of Development at the University of San Francisco, a Jesuit Catholic university.
Board Secretary. Rebecca Cliffe is a British zoologist, one of the world’s leading authorities in sloths, and the founder and executive director of the Sloth Conservation Foundation.
Advisory Board. Michelle runs Pooch Parenting. Michelle is the former Chief Operating Officer for Girls Who Click and the Special Projects and Communications Coordinator for Suzi Eszterhas Wildlife Photography.

Advisory Board. Bob Wilson is active in a number of environmental organizations. He is an attorney and retired from the Federal government.
Advisory Board. Gary Kachadurian has over 35 years of real estate experience specializing in land and asset acquisition, construction, development, financing, and management. He is also an avid nature photographer.
Advisory Board. Sebastian Kennerknecht is a conservation photographer focused on wild cats and imperiled species. He has spent over eleven years working with conservation organizations and magazines to increase the awareness for our endangered species.
Advisory Board. Clay Bolt is a Natural History and Conservation Photographer specializing in the world’s smaller creatures. He regularly partners with organizations such as the National Geographic Society, National Wildlife Federation, and Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation.
Susan McConnell is a Professor of Biology at Stanford University. She has been fascinated with animals and animal behavior ever since she was a little girl. Although her scientific interests ended up shifting into neuroscience and brain development, her passions for wildlife and conservation have deepened through her photography.
Steven David Johnson is a conservation photographer and Professor of Visual and Communication Arts at EMU in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. His photography of the natural world has appeared in Orion, Nature Conservancy Magazine, Ranger Rick, Virginia Wildlife, National Science Teachers Association Press books and numerous conservation publications and journals.
Marcus Westberg is an award-winning conservation and travel photographer and writer, with a background in environmental science. Most of his work focuses on various aspects of human-environment interaction, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa and his native Sweden.
