Alejandra has a PhD in Computational Chemistry but her life has been marked by her love for birds and nature. From science, her studies have been related to solutions for climate change. Recently she decided to become a nature photographer, especially of birds, her greatest obsession. She has contributed as a storyteller in the book ‘Portfolio 1: Photographs and stories of extraordinary birds’ (R. Armada & A. Rendon, Lynx Nature Books 2024), and founded a company for Birding and Bird Photography Tours around the world called Warbler Tours. She is Colombian, based in Spain, and her goal as a photographer is to make visible stories of the vulnerability of nature and the impacts of climate change on the natural world.
