Alicia Hayden

Alicia (she/her) is a creative conservationist originally from North Yorkshire, now based in Bristol, UK. She is passionate about telling stories about the natural world using a multidisciplinary approach – from film and photography to art and animation. 

Alicia has a degree in Biological Sciences from Oxford University, and a Master’s in Wildlife Filmmaking from UWE – for the past two years she has worked at the BBC Natural History Unit in children’s TV, as well as working for a variety of organisations as a freelancer. Her most recent film “The Lost Songstress” explores the conservation of Eurasian curlews.
