Helena has been working as a wildlife photographer, conservationist, and guide for the last 16 years. Helena divides her time between pangolin conservation projects and leading photographic safaris in Africa, India and South America. She has a master’s degree in Conservation Ecology and has spent a lot of time in the field, working specifically with the challenges around human and wildlife conflict. She has been involved with several conservation projects in Africa and currently she works as the Conservation Projects Manager for a pangolin conservation organisation. Helena is also a member of the IUCN SSC Pangolin Specialist Group. Helena believes strongly in the value of photography to get people inspired to contribute to conservation and often uses her pangolin photographs to convey the message about the plight of the pangolin.
