Volunteer. Workshop Admissions Director. Arlene Davis is a retired electronics engineer who worked with public safety radio. She is currently active in several environmental and community organizations.
She volunteers regularly as a wildlife rehabilitator at International Bird Rescue (IBR). During events such as an oil spill, she works as a first responder to rescue, wash, and rehabilitate birds as part of IBR and the Oiled Wildlife Care Network. She is also a long term volunteer with Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary in their Beach Watch program. In addition she is active in the Marin Medical Reserve Corps who augments Marin county’s disaster medical response. She has a keen interest in wildlife photography and has been fortunate to shoot with some very talented and generous photographers. She would like to help teenage girls to experience similar opportunities.
