Miro is an 18 year old underwater photographer from Aotearoa, New Zealand. Passionate about art and the ocean for her whole life, she started photographing the marine life she saw while snorkeling at age 12. Most of her work is taken at Taputeranga Marine Reserve in Wellington, the capital city of NZ. Through her photography, she aims to inspire others to care for our marine environments by showing the beauty and diversity of life beneath the waves that many people are unaware of. She will also be beginning her studies in marine biology in 2026.
