Maxine Piron

Driven by a lifelong love for the natural world, I’ve built my career as a wildlife veterinary nurse and conservationist. I got my start in 2016 rehabilitating injured animals, tracking giraffe herds, and studying the behavior of playful vervet monkeys. After earning a MSc in Wildlife Management and Conservation in 2020, I have rewilded rhinos in Southern Africa, supported the reintroduction of the critically endangered addax in the Sahara Desert, and guided dogsledding expeditions across the Arctic. When I’m not in the field, you’ll find me either behind the camera or diving, surfing, snowboarding, skiing and hiking.
