Avani Fachon (she/her) is a multimedia storyteller inspired by stories of interconnection in the natural world. She is passionate about exploring the intersection of ecological research, storytelling, and media-making to inspire collective action towards a more inclusive and sustainable future. Avani holds a B.A. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with a minor in Media Production from University of Colorado Boulder, and is currently on the communications team at Point Reyes National Seashore Association where she develops multimedia outreach materials which share the stories of Point Reyes’ deeply interwoven communities and ecosystems.
