Corey Nevels is a marine biologist, photographer, and explorer dedicated to blending science and storytelling to drive meaningful conservation efforts. Growing up in landlocked Ohio, she found her path through scuba diving, which introduced her to incredible marine life and ecosystems. Now with over a decade of experience and advanced degrees in marine science, her work has taken her to remote field stations, guiding dive expeditions in Baja California Sur, and studying manta ray populations in Hawai’i. Empowered by her camera and scientific background, Corey tells stories for the wild—fostering connection, highlighting fragility, and inspiring action to protect the natural world.
